Cancer coaching and professional-grade advocacy tools — built by a breast cancer survivor and Navy veteran who knows what it takes to navigate the system from the inside.
A cancer diagnosis changes everything — the medical decisions, the paperwork, the emotional weight. Coaching gives you a knowledgeable partner who helps you understand your options, prepare for appointments, and advocate for the care you deserve.

In October 2019, I went to the doctor for what they thought were kidney stones. The scan came back clear for stones — but it found a mass in my right breast. I was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer while serving as a clinical systems trainer at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany.
I had the lump removed and went through chemotherapy overseas, far from most of my family. It takes a village to get through chemo — it takes everything out of you. I had to rely on friends, coworkers, and the military community around me to get through each day.
I came out the other side with a clean bill of health and a deep understanding of what it feels like to navigate a healthcare system during the most frightening time of your life. The confusion, the exhaustion, the feeling that you need someone in your corner who actually gets it.
That's why I built SBV Clinical Liaison. The coaching, the toolkit, the advocacy resources — they all come from a place I've lived. Not theory. Experience.
